Jonathan joined Off Trax in 2000. Today he is an established Jimmy Jib, Hot-Head and camera operator, enthusiastic, friendly, relaxed and competent filming within any discipline or environment. His experience is wide and includes operating cameras both on and off of camera cranes, in studio or on location, both at home and abroad in extreme as well as civilised environments. Over the past years Jonathan has also turned his hand to Steadicam, always open to taking on a new challenge with the view to mastering a new piece of equipment. A few of his broad ranging credits over the years have seen him work on feature films including Scenes of a Sexual Nature and Streetdance 3D. Dramas such as Primeval and Murder in Suburbia. Factual/Documentary programs that have taken him all over the world including filming and sleeping in minus thirty degrees in Greenland for the National Geographic, to the opposite extreme of filming around the Dogon Plateau in Mali at fifty degrees in the height of the drought season for the BBCs' Human Planet series. He has filmed many live and as live shoots including the Winter Games, Children in Need, the Isle of Wight Festival 3D, The National Lottery, The Cure, Roger Waters Pink Floyd Tour and light entertainment programs such as The Morgana Show, Grown Ups as well as numerous commercials, corporates, concerts and promos.
Jonathan has been accredited in the Radio Times for his work on David Dimbleby's BBC series Seven Ages of Britain by journalist David Butcher who wrote in his review:
